About our client: Our client is a manufacturer of offshore drilling and production equipment that is well-suited for use in deepwater applications.
About the role:
- Works closely with the Manufacturing Manager, Shop Lead, and other process stakeholders to ensure that production plans are achievable and that materials are available when needed.
- Monitor production progress and make adjustments to the production.
- Maintain the production schedule, ensuring that all products are manufactured on time and in accordance with customer specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future production needs to ensure that raw materials are available when needed.
- Work closely with Purchasing to expedite deliveries of critical components and raw materials.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality control, and other departments to resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Investigate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Generate reports detailing production progress and performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of all production activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new product launch plans.
- Must have demonstrated ability to maintain production schedules and knowledge of production control and inventory control.
- Familiar with ERP/MRP systems, word processing, spreadsheets, project management, etc.
- Knowledge of forecasting methods and inventory optimization techniques
About you:
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Min. 5 Years in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Must have experience in all aspects of a manufacturing machine shop, fabrication, welding, and cladding.

- Work location: Tuas (pick-up transport provided)
- Work hours: Monday to Friday (8am to 5.15pm)
