Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Follow up with HR on payroll data provided
- Administer OT payrun
- Administer month end payrun
- Submit CPF reports
- Compute final settlement for resignees
- File IR21 tax for work pass holders
- File IR8A tax for locals
- Submit maternity, paternity, childcare leave and NS claims
- Process petty cash
- Generate GL file from Payroll system for month end accounts closing
- Coordinating with various departments, such as HR, finance, and accounting, to ensure that all payroll information is up-to-date and accurate
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws related to payroll processing, such as tax laws and employment regulations
- Conducting regular audits and reviews of the payroll process to identify any errors, discrepancies, or potential issues and taking corrective actions as necessary
- Experienced in OT calculation and knowledge in shift setup
- Manage complex payroll – with blue collar and various shift patterns
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to payroll processing and administration
Pre-Requisitions
- Degree in Human Resources/Administration/Finance or its equivalent
- Min 5 years of payroll and benefits administration experience
- Familiar with relevant regulations and laws related to payroll processing, such as CPF, Tax laws and employment regulation.
- Handle huge volume of payroll transaction and complete within deadline
- Good knowledge of HRIS systems (especially Timesoft) is an added advantage
- Familiar with shift pattern set-up and overtime calculation in Time Attendance System
- Strong team-player who can establish positive relationships and work effectively and collaboratively with individuals across all levels
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good with numbers, with an eye for detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
