Assistant Manager (Payroll, Changi)

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Follow up with HR on payroll data provided
  2. Administer OT payrun
  3. Administer month end payrun
  4. Submit CPF reports
  5. Compute final settlement for resignees
  6. File IR21 tax for work pass holders
  7. File IR8A tax for locals
  8. Submit maternity, paternity, childcare leave and NS claims
  9. Process petty cash
  10. Generate GL file from Payroll system for month end accounts closing
  11. Coordinating with various departments, such as HR, finance, and accounting, to ensure that all payroll information is up-to-date and accurate
  12. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws related to payroll processing, such as tax laws and employment regulations
  13. Conducting regular audits and reviews of the payroll process to identify any errors, discrepancies, or potential issues and taking corrective actions as necessary
  14. Experienced in OT calculation and knowledge in shift setup
  15. Manage complex payroll – with blue collar and various shift patterns
  16. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to payroll processing and administration

Pre-Requisitions

  1. Degree in Human Resources/Administration/Finance or its equivalent
  2. Min 5 years of payroll and benefits administration experience
  3. Familiar with relevant regulations and laws related to payroll processing, such as CPF, Tax laws and employment regulation.
  4. Handle huge volume of payroll transaction and complete within deadline
  5. Good knowledge of HRIS systems (especially Timesoft) is an added advantage
  6. Familiar with shift pattern set-up and overtime calculation in Time Attendance System
  7. Strong team-player who can establish positive relationships and work effectively and collaboratively with individuals across all levels
  8. Good interpersonal skills
  9. Good with numbers, with an eye for detail
  10. Good verbal and written communication skills
