About the Role:
We're looking for a talented Sales Manager, who will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business within an assigned territory.

  • Work with Planet partners to identify, nurture and close opportunities with both new and existing customers, manage forecasts and track partner and customer data.
  • Will have 2 - 3 years experience working with partners to coordinate and close small to medium transactions.
  • Will work cooperatively with internal departments to improve the velocity of business and work through partners to deliver solutions that serve the best interests of our partners and customers at Planet Labs.

Impact You’ll Own:
● Manage partner account plan and co-sell where needed
● Prospect, develop, and close a continuous pipeline of partner opportunities
● Identify, foster, incentivize partner growth through identification of
best-in-class products
● Maintain partner, account and opportunity information in Salesforce.com, including deal registrations
● Forecast business and sales pipeline as required by management
● Up and cross-sell opportunities, probe for additional contacts with
projects/opportunities
● Achieve and surpass all stated goals for the position
● Work with Marketing to conduct seminars, assist with trade shows, and other marketing related events with partners


What You Bring:
● 2-3 years of experience in Closing Sales; DAAS or SAAS preferred
● Experience working within a quota and commission structure
● Fluent English required
● Experience using Salesforce.com
● Account Management experience is a plus
● A proven track record of over-achieving Sales Goals with partners
● High energy and enthusiasm
● Ability to work in a fast paced environment
● Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
● Proven work ethic, desire to over-achieve, and a true results-oriented approach
● BA/BS required


What Makes You Stand Out:
● Excellent networking and relationship building skills
● Domain expertise in GEOINT, satellite imaging, or remote imaging.
● Evidence-based track record overachieving quota within a B2B SaaS sales cycle
● Knowledge of Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Groove, Pathfactory and email automation tools
● Experience prospecting or selling into small to medium sized businesses with partners
● Experience in start-up environment is a plus
