Job Summary
Responsible for management & development of technical & commercial proposals for all subsea projects and further submission to Clients
Functional Responsibilities
- To assist in developing and maintaining an estimating business process that will ensure applicability passed to the project level
- To actively participate in the management and completion of various tenders
- Review of project/bid details and discuss bid strategy with management
- Attends pre and post bid Client meetings
- To conceptualize layouts for the project and review all estimates and proposals before they are submitted
- Get the necessary management approvals on price for submission to Client
- Review and finalization of tender submission package in line with Client requirements and in compliance with internal procedures
- Coordination with Client during the tendering process and conducts post-bid follow-up communication with Client till award and endeavour to determine what happened if not awarded.
- Providing leadership for continuously improving the process for estimating and proposals
- Oversees the estimating and proposals functions and activities related to the working of the Estimation and Proposals department
- Serves as a liaison for Project Management post-award of bid passing related data to project
- Maintains confidentiality throughout the process
- Serves as a Marketing representative for Company for all Clients
Qualifications & Experiences
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering and/or Commercial Diving or ROV and subsea inspection certification with estimating or project engineering background preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in offshore energy subsea industry
