Revenue Management Cum Front Desk Executive (Capsule Hostel)

Position Summary :

The Revenue Management Cum Front Desk Executive is responsible for maintaining all essential revenue-related reports for all revenue-generating areas of the Hostel.

The person should also be well acquainted with rate structure of hotel for all segments, be actively involved in rate alterations in all revenue generating channels per demand.

The person will be required to take up Front Desk shifts and has to be comfortable interacting with guests.



Job Scope:

Revenue Management (Main Role)

  • Maintain and implement as necessary the Revenue Management system as it relates to Booking Systems and ensure all statistics required for the Revenue Management reports are collated, maintained and reported as required.
  • Maximise room sales as per selling strategy.
  • Ensure that rates are communicated on time to the Reservations associates which will assist with the maximisation of revenue.
  • Monitor reservations pick up pace, and ensure quick response to rectify any issues related.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of communication with all related OTAs on the forward availability situation of the hotel.
  • Ensure reservations entries in the PMS are of good connections with all OTAs.
  • Actively research on competitor hotels’ package and rates based on 3 months out

Front Desk (Sub Role)

  • Provide quality customer service at all times; greet visitors and guests in a friendly and engaging manner ensuring a smooth and timely check-in/check-out during their stay
  • Thorough understanding of all hotel room categories, room rates and other general product knowledge necessary to perform Front Office operations
  • Proactively assist guests in an informative and helpful way on enquiries relating to their stay and follow-up promptly on guest requests and needs
  • Accounting and maintaining an accurate cash float
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned


Requirement:

  • Minimum 1 year of working experience Reservations / Communications Experience in Hotel/capsule hostel/backpacker hostel
  • Diploma / Degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Self-Motivated.
  • High levels of flexibility and adaptability and ability.
  • High Problem Solving Skills
  • Act with utmost integrity.
