JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Performing cell culture, western blot, protein extraction and a variety of sample preparation techniques for LC-MS analysis
- Performing basic usage and maintenance of Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry equipment
- Performing routine data analysis for mass spectrometry data
- Documenting and reporting of lab experiments and results
- Support lab operations by preparing common reagents and buffers, lab safety and other lab and administrative duties
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, chemical biology or related field
- Motivated to learn new laboratory techniques.
- Responsible, organized and able to work independently.
- Ability to communicate and work well with others.
- Prior experience with liquid chromatography mass spectrometry is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience with R is a plus but not required.
