As a Digital Manager for this high-profile, global client so you will be tasked with strategizing, planning, and governance of digital media across 9 markets. Campaign execution for this account happens locally, but market management, best practice scaling, planning governance and insights is overseen by the regional team. During peak periods, there may be an expectation for the regional team to support local market activation.


As a Senior Manager, you operate at the very heart of the business and are critical to our market perception across the digital landscape. The digital community in OMD is therefore tasked with creating a recognized market-leading position in digital implementation / executional management and client servicing. You will report to the Regional Account Director, with specific projects from the Regional Business Director (overall account lead for the agency in Asia-Pacific).


Reporting Structure:

  • You report directly to the Regional Account Director.
  • You are expected to manage your own workload as well as any specialist delivery services that are being deployed in your business.

The role encompasses:

Strategy & Governance

  • Be one of the primary client contacts alongside the Regional Account Director.
  • Provides digital strategy on key campaigns and consulting to markets on the rest, as required.
  • Does digital budget setting/recommendation across markets.
  • Ensures governance of effective translation of this strategy into detailed plans by markets.
  • Offers consultations to markets on set-up/audiences/troubleshooting across programmatic, search, e-commerce and social platforms, as well as management of third-party digital providers.
  • Origination of detailed briefs for relevant third-party units and local markets as required.
  • Accountable for reaching KPI targeting across multiple markets in the ASEAN Region.
  • Provides recommendation of changes in spend levels while being able to articulate potential impact.
  • Pushes the limits of client’s thinking on how to operate performance-based marketing channels.
  • Have great passion to test, plan and innovate new channel recommendations outside of standard performance channels to meet campaign objectives.
  • Be involved in creative development workshops and Quarterly Business Reviews as required.
  • Ensures timely delivery and upkeep of all relevant reporting systems and templates (media plans, contact reports, status reports, dashboard).
  • Does post campaign reporting that quantifies the value of the media strategy.
  • Manages & maintains relationships with internal customers/partners to communicate campaign performance/progress to goals.
  • Manages and develops a team who are responsible for executing the campaigns and hitting KPIs across local markets.

Required Skills:

  • Tertiary qualified.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a digital and/or performance media role.
  • Strong technical understanding of Digital Landscape across the ASEAN region.
  • Domain expertise in two or more of the following is highly desired - SEM, Programmatic, Display, Social, E-commerce (on-site MSP) and Content Marketing.
  • Good understanding of media fundamentals and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Strong client facing communication & presentation skills.
