Job Overview
As a dedicated Localization Specialist, you will participate in the localization of game clients and content for Wargaming.net.
Reports To
Head of Localization&QA/Customer Support, APAC
What will you do?
- Responsible for localizing all the in-game assets including text, image, and audio.
- Localize, and/or edit collateral materials related to games.
- Review and fine-tune translated text by verifying the integrity of the text in the game
- Work closely with internal localization staff as well as related teams to help all projects meet deadlines with the finest quality
What are we looking for?
- Localization Specialist for Traditional Chinese region, proficiency in Mandarin and Traditional Chinese is a must (listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills)
- Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
- Advance level of skills in translating, editing, and proofreading
- Excellent traditional Chinese spelling and grammar
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- 1+ years in game translation
- Bachelor’s degree major in English and literature
- Passion for games especially military genre
- Knowledge of game or software localization and localization tools
