ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Contracting Manager, you are accountable for the commercial process of creating contracts for Google Cloud Professional Services Organization (PSO) services from start to finish, ensuring the process is efficient and all contracts are high-quality and customer centric. You will leverage an extended workforce team of Contracting Agents who themselves are responsible for the development and execution of contracts, leveraging pre-approved language for the contracting artifacts, aiming at a high degree of standardization. You will act as a contact point in their Region for the extended workforce function and sit between the Go-to-Market teams and the CAs.

In this role, you will create the contracting artifacts (i.e., Statement of Works, Order Forms, and subcon agreements) that meet the unique needs of each customer, while also looking for opportunities to streamline the contracting process and remove any friction.


Qualifications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with various teams (e.g., GCC Pursuit Leads, PSO, other GCC functions, Sales, PSO Governance, Commercial, Legal, Partners, and internal support teams) to create final executables focused on time, quality, and accuracy, and remove friction in the process.
  • Raise issues with approved scoping language and estimates. Improve existing contract snippets with the aim to increase the repository of pre-approved language to increase efficiencies.
  • Be accountable for high quality contracts leading to high customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure contract artifacts are compliant, meet legal standards, manage contract risk and financial health.
  • Oversee the executable contract process through to closure, executed by Contracting Agents inclusive of required approvals with process improvement prioritized.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in customer contracting and agreement management.
  • Experience with writing and discussing agreement documents, proposal documents and Statements of work for professional services engagements, or other contracts for technology services.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of experience in consulting services partnering with sales teams to draft complex customer contracts for large technology services businesses.
  • Experience in Vendor Management.
  • Experience with advising on the legal implications of contract terms and conditions.
  • Experience building effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience with process improvement and automation.
  • Ability to facilitate communication between technical and business stakeholders and to be detailed- and process-oriented.
