Sales Executive

We are a leading construction company based in Singapore, having established strong ties with government agencies and main-contractor companies over more than two decades of commitment. With a proven track record and a strong reputation in the industry, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Manager to join our team. As an Accounts Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by acquiring new clients and effectively managing existing accounts.


Responsibilities

1. Business Development

  • Identify and target potential clients in the construction industry, focusing on large government and international main-contractor companies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the target companies.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to acquire new business and expand our client base.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify business opportunities and gain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with the team to create compelling proposals for prospective clients.

2. Account Management:

  • Manage and nurture existing client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs, address any concerns, and provide timely updates on projects and services.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and project management, to ensure smooth project execution and delivery of services.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and upsell additional services where appropriate.

3. Financial Management:

  • Coordinate the financial aspects of client accounts, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collection.
  • Work closely with client’s finance team to ensure accurate and timely billing, resolve payment discrepancies, and minimize outstanding debts.
  • Monitor account receivables and follow up on overdue payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual agreements.

4. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, account performance, and revenue forecasts.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and client feedback to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and account details.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or in a similar sales/account management role within the construction industry, preferably working with government and/or main-contractor companies.
  • Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and experience in managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and a strong drive to achieve targets.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $4,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
