If you are a Quality and Engineering professional, Emerson has a great opportunity for you! Based in our Singapore location, this role will support Quality Assurance, Service Engineering and Environment Safety and Health functions.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Quality Assurance
· Record all incoming customer support requests; Warranty and Technical Enquiries.
· Give timely and effective responses and coordinating the necessary actions to assist the customers' requests.
· Maintain accurate documentation and records required by the Quality Management System; External and Internal Audits, Inspection Test Plan, Corrective Actions
· Involve in quality improvement activities on the Product and Services with Production, Suppliers and Customers.
· Any other work that Manager or Supervisor may assign to do.
Service
· Support customer orders on field FAT, Service and Commissioning.
· Maintain accurate records on service report and follow up with customer to ensure accurate closure of service requests.
· Assist to conduct service training to our customer.
· Use 5S techniques to prioritize and maintain service work space and tools.
· Occasional Travelling, within Singapore and Overseas are required for Service and Training.
Environment, Safety and Health
· Responsible to maintain the safety documentation and upkeep safety process using VelocityEHS system.
· Responsible to conduct Risk Assessment using JSA Builder.
· Involving in consolidating and reporting of Safety and GHG matters
· Involve in the organization safety committee.
Who You Are:
You anticipate customer needs and provides services that are beyond customer expectations. You actively listen and check for understanding. You focus on the highest priorities and set aside less critical tasks.
For This Role, You Will Need:
· Minimum of 1 year work experience from a manufacturing or any related industry.
· Must be technically knowledgeable and competent in Actuators (pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical), Instrument Accessories; i.e. Pressure Regulators, Relief valves, Solenoid valves, Positioners, Limit Switch, and FieldBus Protocols (Modbus, Profibus, HART, Foundation Fieldbus)
· Good in craftsmanship and physical ability to perform site diagnostic, service and repair.
· Good understanding and awareness of site safety and hazardous requirement to conduct service jobs. i.e. (SWSHPP, BOSIET, SWICSO, MWAH, SSSC)
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
· Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering Discipline (Automation, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical or Electrical) or any related discipline
· Knowledge in valves is good to have.
