The Metering Software Service Engineer is responsible for the execution of software project upgrades, providing support for improvements and resolving customer issues. This role will also coordinate with customers and other collaborators to achieve efficient project execution and timely project schedule.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
· Implements software project upgrade of current custody transfer flow metering and blending and transfer control systems install base.
· Visits customer installation for site survey and provide a comprehensive recommendation.
· Assists with configuration, programming, and testing of HMI, PLCs, Server, multiplexors, Delta V, Flow Computers, Preset, Batch Controller, and other applicable equipment.
· Assists in preparing engineering documents (Functional Design Specification, Test Procedures & I/O Address List, Modbus List, Graphics Display, etc.).
· Provides feedback for development/application programming of project software for Flow Computer, Supervisory Computer, PLC, etc.
· Reviews Engineering Documents such as System Architecture, Wiring Drawings etc.
· Reviews customer specifications and provide solutions to customer’s technical needs.
· Attends to customer meeting and technical clarification and provide timely resolution.
· Performs Pre-FAT / FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), Installation, Site acceptance Test & Commissioning.
· Replicates customer-installed software control system with a demo unit to provide solution to customer issues.
· Provides remote support to customers via phone call, email and remote access application.
· Coordinates with other engineers/designer/project manager for efficient project execution to meet/exceed customer’s requirement, project schedule & quality standard.

For This Role, You Will Need:
· 8+ years of relevant experience in instrumentation and flow metering for the Oil & Gas / Petroleum industry.
· 5+ years of work experience in the development/programming of Industrial Automation/Process Control software and advanced software tools.
· In-depth development experience in SCADA software, e.g. WinCC, Wonderware Intouch, Intellution iFix, Delta V.
· Proven experience in software development in Siemens/Allen Bradley/Schneider PLC.
· Proficiency in network communication protocols such as TCP/IP, OPC, Modbus, etc.
· Proficiency in software design and development for custody transfer and B&T solution.
· Experience handling projects, configuration, and programming Flow Computers, HMI, and PLCs.
· Knowledge of relevant industry standards applicable to flow measurement systems & custody transfer systems.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to efficiently communicate and advocate service solutions to customers.

· Degree / Diploma in n Instrumentation / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering / Technology or Diploma in Instrumentation / Mechanical / Electronics Technology
