Informatica Professional Services (IPS) helps customers succeed with their enterprise Data Management solutions. We are actively recruiting for an experienced consultant who loves working with data. You'll use Informatica's Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform and other On-Prem products to deliver solutions related to Data Governance, Data Integration and Master Data Management. Your Opportunity

You’ll provide industry leading data management consulting services to our customers who utilize Informatica products and solutions. You’ll also support the services sales cycle as requested and mentor other Informatica consultants in the effective use and deployment of On-Prem and Cloud Informatica products.

Your Responsibilities

You will work with our customers and business partners, both on short-term assignments to provide on-the-spot Informatica expertise and on longer-term assignments to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with customers' expectations. You will travel whenever necessary, work alone or with a team to provide support and solutions for assigned customers and projects. You will promote best practices while managing project deliverables, timelines, and customer expectations, ensuring long term success and adoption of Informatica products. Your ultimate mission is to deliver a first-rate customer experience and positive brand awareness for Informatica.


Your Qualifications


Must Have:

  • 2 to 7 years of industry experience in the data management space.
  • Ability to independently drive technical discussions, presentations, and meetings with customers and business partners.
  • Strong Consulting skills in Data Management space.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a strategic approach to consulting engagements, understanding customers' long-term data management strategies and vision.
  • Persuasive skills to influence peers, customers, and partners on technical design, solution architecture and ideas.
  • Good awareness of Data Management related industry best practices and solutions.
  • Strong in database related concepts and modern Cloud Data Lake architectures, along with proficient SQL writing and troubleshooting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows-based operating systems, along with data management tools and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux Shell and Windows Batch scripting, as well as relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, etc.

Good to Have:

  • Hands-on experience with implementing Cloud Data Lake and Data Warehousing solutions using technology platforms such as Hadoop (Cloudera), Databricks, Snowflake, Amazon S3, Redshift, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehouse appliances such as Teradata, Oracle Exadata, etc.
  • Experience with Informatica Cloud or On-Prem Products.
  • Experience in delivering technical solutions related to Data Integration, Data Governance, and Master Data Management.
  • Hands-on experience with data management products such as QlikView, PowerBI, AWS Glue, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and Web Services is a big plus.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, messaging queues like JMS and Kafka, and query languages like Java and Python is a big plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
