Role purpose

In this role you will be closely working with Regional Head of People & Culture to establish best practices and drive collaboration within the team and work strategically to embed great people practices that are aligned with, and enhance, our core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Attraction & Acquisition
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Conduct employee onboarding, complete new hire paperwork and enter new hire data in HR information systems.
  • Orient new managers to the recruitment process and provide them with recruitment tools and resources.
  • Policies and Processes
  • Participate in the development of regional and Group-wide human resources policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment-related laws and regulations
  • Talent Development
  • Help executing training & development initiatives and managing the same in HR information systems
  • Employee Experience and Employee Relations
  • Help the company create and sustain a culture of innovation around employee engagement, fostering employee retention, and maximizing the employee lifecycle.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Rewards and Recognition
  • Help develop and implement competitive rewards programs to attract and retain people in a highly competitive industry.
  • Performance Management
  • Undertake tasks around performance management. Assisting in half yearly and annual employee performance reviews
  • Other responsibilities include:
  • Administer compensation and benefit plans across all regions
  • Organising and Running employee engagement activities like fun times etc
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related matters and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Gather and analyse data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates

Basic Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience as an HR Generalist
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labour laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach
  • BSc/BA in Business administration or relevant field
  • Additional HR training will be a plus
