Job Summary
The Senior Facility Engineer is responsible to ensure efficient and continual operation of the critical infrastructure equipment that supports the Data Center operations. He/ she also has to ensure that the facility’s power, cooling, and various other subsystems are being operated and maintained according to Telin Data Center and Manufacturer’s schedules and recommendations.

- Record down Power and Racks utilization for at Data Centers
- Handle stock inventory count every 2 months and ensure stocks are recorded in order
- Gather all information and update the new assets into AMS – Asset mgmt. system
- Responsible for Data Centre provisioning (racks, power, cooling)
- Handle all the maintenance contract, ensure all the equipment is well maintenance by direct OEM (Original Equip Manufacturer)
- Update FM defects tracker for Data Center and follow up with main-contractor
- Source for quotations, compare quotes and assist in preparing purchase request
- Coordinate with vendor on A&A (additions & alterations) project works, ensure the works does not impact any operation
- Support Yearly HT shutdown maintenance and energy management system
Qualifications
- ITE/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering (or related engineering field) and above
- Data centre facility operation background
- Experience in dealing with customers and vendors management
- Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP)
