Required to do shift work (3.00am to 2.00pm & 8.00am to 7.00pm)

You Need To.........

  • Receive incoming seafood shipments, verify quantities and quality against purchase orders, and conduct inspections for freshness and compliance with food safety standards
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular stock counts, and reconciling discrepancies
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of seafood products to maintain quality and prevent contamination, including temperature monitoring, FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation, and proper packaging
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, picking and packing seafood products according to order specifications and delivery schedules
  • Coordinate outbound shipments, prepare shipping documentation, and arrange transportation to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) standards
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper handling of seafood, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintenance of a clean and safe work environment
  • Provide guidance and supervision to warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings in warehouse operations, and implement best practices accordingly

You need to have/be:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the food industry
  • Knowledge of seafood processing and handling procedures is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
