Job Summary:
Main duty is to provide decision support analysis to YAA management and Corporate Controlling and be the key driver of performance management process at Region level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the consolidation of regional monthly financials and annual business planning process across the region, with active aim to drive improvement.
Plan, organize and execute the financial performance management system cycle in the region.
Support the Region management team in setting the strategic direction for the business units.
Drive and own the Performance Management process through active monitoring of performance and key value drivers at Africa and Asia regional level, with challenge to drive improvement in the region.
Active business partner to support improvements projects across the region to improve sales while reducing costs and working capital.
Facilitate review of investment proposals including financial modelling and support the presentation to Yara Management.
Proactively drive improvements in close collaboration with key stakeholders in the Region.
Risk management facilitation, reporting and follow-up.
Other ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
Outstanding knowledge on excel, Sun-6, HFM, powerpoint.
Higher education at Master level.
Minimum 8 year’s experience from Financial Planning and Analysis.
Strong communication skills and commercial acumen.
Working Conditions:
High workload with very tight reporting deadlines.

Need to manage complex consolidation issues across very challenging countries. Has to handle an extremely complex business flow combined with IT systems that make the process slow and manual.

The role is key in order for YAA Mgt to have timely, relevant and reliable management information.
Area of Impact
No formal direct reports, but many local and central stakeholders to coordinate.
Impact from role is felt on the regions to have good steering information to guide key decision making at Region level and for timely and reliable steering information to Corporate/RExCo.
Interpersonal Skills
Need high level of interpersonal skills in order to manage a large numbers of local CFOs/controller in addition to other Regional and Corporate functions.
