A wholesale trading company based in Singapore.
As a general manager (business development), you are responsible for leading and managing the overall operations of the business development unit. You will work with the executive director to establish clear, identified and achievable sales targets. You will manage and spearhead the business development unit including conducting market research, identify suitable markets and implement strategies to improve clients' satisfaction and ensuring efficient and effective communication with clients. You will have to carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assign.
Pre-requirements:
- a degree from a recognised university
- strong leadership skill, excellent communications and written abilities especially in Chinese (for China markets)
- a good understanding of Asian economy / market especially China
- have substantial networks and contacts in Asian countries especially China
- min 5-10 years prior business experience especially in business development in China would be an advantage
- frequent business travelling
