School of Social Sciences is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Associate/ Research Fellow.
Our lab is seeking motivated individuals to provide research support for a two-year grant project on implicit motives in political communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content coding of implicit motives from text data
- Establishment and refinement of a training database for our machine learning/NLP classifier for implicit motives
- Coordination and training of undergraduate research assistants
- Statistical analyses
- Preparation of reports and manuscripts related to the project
- Planning and execution of independent research related to the topic of implicit motives, the automation of their assessment through content coding procedures, and/or the links between implicit motives and political communication
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree (preferably in psychology) with experience for Research Associate position, or PhD or equivalent (preferably in psychology) for Research Fellow position
- Research experience in quantitative psychology in the fields of personality and/or social psychology
