About Our Client
Our client operates within the insurance sector and is currently seeking to fill a managerial position at the IC level.
Job Description
- Take ownership of on-premises, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms deployed for corporate and product services.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and services to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Oversee the selection of platform service providers, technologies, and tools based on thorough evaluation and assessment.
- Define platform architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines for the IT team to follow.
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of DevOps, Network, Compute/IAM, and DB engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and manage IT governance, Cyber Security, and Infosec controls, policies, and procedures.
- Manage networking and security infrastructure solutions including switches/routers, load balancers, firewalls, WAF, DDoS, DLP, EDR/XDR, and others.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in managing on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure platforms.
- Strong background in networking, compute, IAM, and security concepts.
- Experience working in an Agile framework with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
