Description:
- Prepares key project documentation in executing the complete scope of structural scope of work as per the project requirements in meeting customer’s expectations
- Coordinates with other engineering team members, subcontractors and consultants on technical issues and design solutions in meeting project deliverables
- Participates in project meeting, attends to basic technical queries and issues related to structural design and reviews the deliverables
- Liaises//co-ordinate with owners/other disciplines/departments in preparation of reports and design packages for multi-disciplines projects. Statutory and classification authorities for design compliance review and approval on the proposed project plans in meeting project requirements
- Generates detailed calculations, analysis and solutions for structural design to deliver safe, secure and fully functional facilities based on the customer’s safety and reliability standards
- Provides updates to project team members on all aspects of structural
- Undertake structural, geotechnical and hydraulic analysis, calculations and prepare design sketches and drawings indicating arrangement and design intent for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct engineering assessments, evaluations and presentation relating to existing structures, structural alternatives and/or infrastructure scheme and prepare technical reports documenting the results.
- Communicate with clients, sub consultants, approving agencies, etc. for the purpose of obtaining design information, presenting design alternatives, and expediting approvals.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 4 years design experience in structural design of buildings
Conversant with Eurocodes and authority submission procedures
Good written and oral communication skills
