Responsibilities:
- Develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM simulation systems;
- Set-up and optimize multi-axis CNC machining centers incl. interface to robotics;
- Cutter-Selection, Design of Cutters specific to parts & process requirements;
- Perform In-Process quality checks, analyse process variations and initiate cpk improvement
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering, Aerospace Machining Technology, ITE Technical Engineer Diploma (Machine Technology) or other relevant educational background;
- Minimum 1 year of CNC milling experience, 5 axis CNC, CAD-CAM
- Must be able to interpret mechanical drawings (ISO, GD&T)
- Good analytical knowledge and sense for technical details & precision
- Passion to innovate and improve, resource full, willingness to learn
- Good team player, ability to communicate well within all levels of the organization
