Marketing and Partnership Manager

The incumbent specializes in implementing and developing commercial and strategic relationships with organizations in accordance with company's overarching objective, strategic goals and strategies. He/ she will promote the training business, related consultancy services, products and/ or brands.
He/ she is required to develop marketing strategies, generate new business leads, manage marketing budgets and analyze trends.
1) Partnerships Development and Enhancement
- Partnering and collaborating with potential organizations in community care such as Active Ageing Centres, Nursing Homes etc. for student attachments arrangement
- Building and enhancing relationships with Corporate Sector and Corporate Commercial clients to promote training programmes, workshops and talks.
- Building and enhancing relationships with government funding agencies (e.g. Skill Future SG)
- Spearheading “Preferred Training Partnership” initiative to develop and create new revenue streams for the academy
- Coordinating with job placement portals and e-learning providers to promote HMTA programmes and services
- Partnering with internal stakeholders on business calls and presentations to potential customers
- Working on potential deals with partners to implement the proposed learning & development programmes
2) Marketing Communications
a) Website and other e-marketing communications, social media (Facebook and YouTube)
- Providing ideas and input into the development of new e-marketing materials
- Oversees editing and proof-reading of copy writing of new and up-to-date web content
b) Marketing collateral and publicity material (Brochures)
- Providing ideas and input into the development of new e-marketing materials
- Preparing marketing collateral for the Academy’s corporate relations activities
- Oversees editing and proof-reading of copy writing of marketing material (brochures, posters, flyers etc.) for the programmes, liaising with the relevant internal & external stakeholders
3) Leads Generation and Sales
- Managing course enquiries from interested parties and recommending appropriate training courses
- Preparation for and facilitating course previews and course orientation
- Following-up with participants on interested courses
- Reviewing course applications, conduct screening and selection and course enrollment
4) Market Analysis /Research & Planning and New Programme Development:
- Gathering information on sector trends and industry peers’ programmes for use in market benchmarking and other forms of market analysis.
- Working with Assistant Director, Marketing & Operations for market analysis and recommendations in relation to marketing plans.
- Supporting the Assistant Director, Marketing & Operations in planning, researching and coordinating student recruitment initiatives, liaising with relevant parties both internal and external.
a) Turnaround time for Marketing & Business Proposals
- Timely creation of Marketing & Business Proposals
- Calculate & ensure sales margins at price levels to ensure profitability
- Working closely with the Directors, Subject Matter Experts – SMEs, Finance and external stakeholders to crystalize areas of interest and resolve potential issues
b) Timely response to Curriculum Development unit in the launch of new training products
- Provide timely information and marketing materials to support launch of new training products
- Stay informed of key marketing trends and issues and competitive activity to drive sales preparedness.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma / Degree in Business Management, Sales & Marketing or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing communication experience
- Sound understanding of online acquisition marketing tools (SEO, PPC, Social, Affiliate, Display, comparisons)
- Must be able to champion marketing campaigns through conventional methods and online channels
- Experience with the development and go-to-market process of a new training product or service
- Must be able to manage the digital marketing and/ or videos/ film budget accurately and efficiently
- To present promotional strategy effectively to internal and external audiences (small and big groups)
- Strong oral and written communication skills – proficient in English and Mandarin
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment
- Savvy with using technologies to enhance and facilitate marketing communication
- Be flexible, energetic and can multi-task; creative and able to think out of the box
