What we need:
Reporting to Senior Vice President, Go To Market, this role will develop and implement a sales strategy that covers all the regional territories where Digital Edge has a presence and aligns with the company’s overall business objectives. This strategy includes identifying target markets, developing pricing strategies, and create sales tactics for promoting the company’s products and services. This role will be based in Singapore.
Key responsibilities:
- Achieve company / country sales, revenue and margin objectives
- Promote DE platform, through value proposition and solution-based selling
- Provide global sales alignment, coaching and training to sales team
- Manage hiring decisions, quarterly employee reviews, performance evaluations
- Develop and execute comprehensive regional growth plan
- Manage team’s account plans for key prospects and customers
- Provide accurate revenue forecasting and opportunity management
- Maintain operational discipline as per Sales Operations guidelines
- Collaborate with internal teams and technical teams to identify and define strategic initiatives
- Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
- plan, build & maintain long-term relationships with key accounts
- Elevate executive level positioning and ensure account teams are educated to position opportunity potential and business retention
- Actively champion and implement policies and procedures for occupational health & safety in the workplace, information security management, environmental management systems; incident management; and comply with all legal regulatory requirements of the organization
The successful candidate:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Competitive personality with demonstrated articulate consultative capability
- 20+ years relevant sales experience in prior sales leadership roles with specific experience selling data centres, powered shell, pre-lease data centres
- Technical understanding of data centre infrastructure, high density computer environments, networking, cloud connectivity
- Proven track record of building business strategy, partner enablement, creating measurable metrics to deliver on key strategies for customers
- Experience working in a matrix organization
