RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position reports to the Production Planning function
- Chairs production meeting and provide updates on the status of the production orders
- Ensure production orders are executed to meet customer’s delivery dates and escalate to manager when at risk.
- Attend MRB (Material Review Board) meetings with the team and follow-up action on the status of non-conformance. Escalate to supervisor for decision-making when required.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure production orders are executed as per plan with minimal delays
- Extensive usage of ERP systems on order tracking and maintaining of records
- Monitor skip operations status, when occur, work with all departments to follow the production routing to ensure accurate clocking of operations by all departments
- Prepare Gantt charts and project manage high profile orders and keep supervisor updated on the status
- Analyse and prepare overall plant capacity and loading
- Closely monitor and expedite production order status.
- Must be able to feel comfortable manoeuvring on the shop floor with adequate PPE and observe all safety requirements in a Manufacturing environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Diploma or 2 years relevant experience in Planner role
- Past experience with ERP system will be added advantage
- Good proficiency in Microsoft office
- A good team player, energetic and willing to work hard
- Good communication skill
