JD for Cloud Architect
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect who will help grow our cloud capabilities by strategizing, defining, architecting, and leading modern cloud solutions. You will support our clients to transform their business problems through cloud architecture solutions, collaborate with our Solutioning Team and Project Managers through the analysis of specific business requirements for alignment with technology architecture, deliver quality client solutions, and communicate progress.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Demonstrate hands-on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages with broad knowledge in integration techniques, solution architecture and project methodologies.
- Demonstrate mastery of cloud architecture and implementation features
- Define, Measure and improve Reliability Metrics, Observability and Operations process
- Define optimal application designs and solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, security and performance monitoring.
- Work on configuration management, know where it’s broken, work towards fixing them and explore new alternatives.
- Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes.
- Develop a library of deployable and documented architectures to serve as baseline for Cloud portfolio.
- Works with management team on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, systems analysis or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience spanning at least IT disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, database management, security or operations.
- Certification in AWS and Azure is compulsory.
- Familiarity with Singapore Government Commercial Cloud Platform will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies.
- Hands on experience with at least one programming language (Java, C#, Phython)
