JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Sales Director for the App Developer segment APAC, you will lead a diverse team that engages with large, medium and small App Developers to help them grow their user base. Our APAC Apps business represents one of the fastest growing, most diverse, and dynamic parts of Google. The App Developer sales team has big ambitions and global reach. You will work with the next generation of mobile-first businesses and drive change to accelerate Google’s position in the fast-growing and strategic business of app install and engagement. Your interest in sales and the digital economy and your entrepreneurial drive enables these relatively new advertisers to expand their businesses with Google's latest advertising products and solutions. Your understanding of the app ecosystem across iOS and Android combined with your commercial acumen shape how new and existing businesses grow. Using your effective communication skills, you are the face of Google to the external audience, to a large portfolio of clients (Large and Small) whose needs you listen to, and help define the vision and strategy for how their products and services can reach millions of users. You will also play a pivotal role across the Global App Developer leadership team in addition to collaborating with leaders in product, sales operations, APAC sales leadership, and in-country teams to ensure we are building a robust business.
Qualifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set high-level priorities within the team to appropriately engage clients across your book of business. Consistently deliver against assigned quota and strategic objectives.
- Work with the Global Apps Solutions Specialists, Product management, Eng teams to define key APAC opportunities across Google’s suite of app install products.
- Collaborate with strategy and ops stakeholders to ensure alignment and assess APAC go-to-market needs.
- Analyze data trends and client performance, develop solid strategic sales plans, and prepare and conduct strategic pitches and sales presentations. Serve as an evangelist at targeted events and conferences.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in mobile, advertising sales, account management and/or client services.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leading teams across different product areas
- Experience building strong relationships with senior, cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience leading large highly motivated sales team to sustain the entrepreneurial culture
- Track record of effective sales/operations management and strategic planning
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
