Our client is an established Marine Transportation company, and they are currently seeking an Accountant to join their team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handling full set of accounts for multiple entities.
- Responsible for timely and accurate month-end and year end closing.
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly GST/VAT/WHT reporting, reconciliation report and tax computation.
- Prepare Annual Statutory Financial Statements and XBRL for the assigned portfolio of entities.
- Attend to external auditors’ requests and queries during annual audit.
- Assist Group Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller on any ad-hoc assignments.
- Assist Group Tax Manager on any tax queries.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Accountancy or its equivalents with CA/CPA qualification.
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in a shipping industry.
- Knowledge of SAP & BPC would be an advantage.
- Strong in Microsoft Office Application, MS Word and Excel.
- Strong knowledge in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Able to work in fast pace environment.
- Detail oriented and meticulous.
- Independent and ability to work under pressure.
- Auditors from Big4 accounting firm are welcome to apply.
