Reports directly to Director, Fixed Income Engineering, Asia Pacific
Job Responsibilities
The role is responsible to design and promote financial engineering and expertise solutions in the areas of asset/wealth management, hedging solutions for corporates, interbank trade solutions. The successful incumbent will support the Sales networks in all markets, by analysing the needs and proposing customized solutions for our clients.
- Make prices for FX, Rates and Credit-linked structured products
- Assist the execution of deals with traders and sales
- Automate pricing, booking and Termsheet generations with Python
- Create presentation materials of FX, Rate and Credit-linked structured products for the entire Asia Pacific region
- Conduct backtesting of investment products or hedging strategies with statistical methods
- Liaise with Sales for feedback to improve the solutions for clients
Job Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Marketing or related disciplines
- Good VBA Programming and Python skills
- Good Powerpoint / presentation skills
- Fluency in French and English is essential to liaise with Head Office counterparts, and knowledge of Mandarin is a bonus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, abilities to work efficiently as a team player
- Pro-activity, self-motivation, abilities to take initiatives
- Attention to details, organization skills, abilities to work on tight deadlines & prioritize
