Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Regional Business Development Manager to spearhead the
Company’s overseas market expansion efforts in the neighbouring countries including Japan , Malaysia,
Taiwan, Australia, … etc. As a key member of the Management Team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, forging strategic partnerships (Distribution Channels, Resellers, Agents, … etc.), and
establishing a strong presence in these markets for the company’s AI Solutions/Applications.
Industry Type: DEVELOPMENT OF SOFTWARE AND APPLICATIONS.
Work Location: 110 Prinsep Street, Singapore 188654 & remote working
Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 5:30pm).
Salary: $6,000 to $8,000; plus Performance Incentive.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities, trends, and challenges in the
target markets.
Analyze competitor activities, customer needs, and regulatory environments to inform market entry
strategies.
Develop and execute market entry strategies and business development plans to expand our
presence in Japan , Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, … etc.
Identify and prioritize target customers, partners, and industry segments for engagement and
collaboration.
Drive sales activities to generate leads, qualify prospects, and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
Develop and negotiate contracts, proposals, and pricing agreements in collaboration with the sales
and legal teams.
Manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and provide regular updates to senior management.
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, alliances, distribution channels, resellers, agents, … etc.
to expand the company’s market reach and penetration.
Collaborate with partners to develop joint offerings, co-marketing initiatives, and go-to-market
strategies.
Develop and implement market expansion plans, including market entry strategies, product
localization, and sales channel development.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer
support, to ensure successful market entry and expansion.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Marketing, Communication, Information Technology, or a related
field.
5-7 years of experience in business development or sales roles, with a focus on overseas market
expansion, preferably within the technology or software industry.
Strong understanding of the cultural, business, and regulatory landscapes in Japan , Malaysia,
Taiwan, Australia, … etc.
Experience in the AI industry and /or Social Media marketing would be a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a track record of driving results and achieving targets in international markets.
Ability to work independently, adapt to changing environments, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic
organization.
