NIE invites suitable applications for the position of HR Executive in the Human Resource Department.

Responsibilities

  • Support the full spectrum of HR functions for faculty members such as appointment, contract renewal, leave, benefits, performance management, promotion, career development and exit.
  • Support the administration and management of scholarship programmes. These include but are not limited to recruitment & selection, bond deed & tracking of bond period, scholars’ progress reports and maintaining scholarships database.
  • Manage queries and provide advice to stakeholders like line managers, employees and scholars.
  • Prepare HR statistical reports.
  • Provide support in HR projects and initiatives.
  • Review HR processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • A Polytechnic Diploma, preferably in Business Studies with specialization in Human Resource Management.
  • Preferably with 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a HR role.
  • Familiar with the Employment Act, local immigration rules and work pass application procedures. Meticulous, detail-oriented and good with numbers.
  • Very good IT skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to take initiative, work independently, and collaboratively in teams.
  • Good communication (written and spoken) skills.
  • Experience in using Workday will be advantageous.
  • Prior experience in working with faculty members will be advantageous.
