Job Scope
- Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing supplier database.
- Handle requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes.
- Work cross functionally with sales, engineering and customer service departments to develop sourcing opportunities.
- Negotiate with suppliers and customers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Liaise with Principals/Suppliers in other countries with regards to technical matters.
- Perform initial and final inspection of products and documents
- Interact and liaise with customers for any quality/technical related issues.
- Prepare test procedure or design fixture, whenever needed.
- Perform assembly, testing and packing as per procedure/documentation whenever needed.
- Implement QMS procedures, work instructions and other quality related duties/documents
- Carry out failure analysis work and reports.
- Provide engineering and field support for regional external sales staff and customers.
- Perform any other supporting duties as assigned – eg Turnkey design work
- Perform any other supporting duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Min. Diploma/Degree in Engineering field of study
- Min. 1 to 3 years’ related working experience handling quality assurance checks, hands on testing and procurement scope of duties
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Training & orientation will be provided.
- Comfortable with occasional overseas traveling when required
