Responsibilities:
- Handling full set of accounts for multiple entities
- Responsible for timely and accurate month-end and year end closing
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
- Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules
- Prepare monthly/quarterly GST/VAT/WHT reporting, reconciliation report and tax computation
- Prepare Annual Statutory Financial Statements and XBRL for the assigned portfolio of entities
- Attend to external auditors’ requests and queries during annual audit
- Assist Group Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller on any ad-hoc assignments
- Assist Group Tax Manager on any tax queries
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Accountancy or its equivalents with CA/CPA qualification
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in a shipping industry
- Knowledge of SAP & BPC would be an advantage
- Strong in Microsoft Office Application, MS Word and Excel.
- Strong knowledge in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
- Able to work in fast pace environment
- Detail oriented and meticulous
- Independent and ability to work under pressure
