The Senior IT Specialist will report to the IT Infrastructure Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of infrastructure activities, providing support during incidents, and contributing to the successful execution of network projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a proactive approach to operational tasks.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure Execution and Support
- Execute day-to-day IT infrastructure activities, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
- Provide technical support for network-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems promptly.
Project Execution
- Assist in the execution of network projects, following guidelines provided by the IT Infrastructure Manager.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful implementation of network solutions.
- Collaborate with the IT Application team to ensure a smooth and successful adoption of Digital Applications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Contribute to the creation and improvement of network-related documentation.
Incident Analysis and Resolution
- Analyze and diagnose network incidents, working collaboratively with the Global IT team to implement timely and effective solutions.
- Document incident details, resolutions, and contribute to incident response improvement initiatives.
Network Monitoring and Maintenance
- Monitor network performance and respond to alerts, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to uphold the health and reliability of the network infrastructure.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational and project-related requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members, reporting on progress and issues as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT network operations, support, and project execution.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and incident response procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently in a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Passionate with complex and mixed IT architectures and best-of-breed IT equipment.
- Proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Successful experience in working in Luxury Industry in a retail company is a plus.
