Order, Packing, and Inventory Operater for E-commerce

Mardec9 is a startup e-commerce company that opened in July last year, specializing in selling children's clothing. We are seeking a colleague to work collaboratively across all aspects of the business to support our growth.


Position Overview:

As the Order, Packing, and Inventory Management PIC (Person in Charge) for our company, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the order fulfillment, packing, and inventory control processes. You will play a role in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer orders, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional service. Your focus will be on maintaining efficient packing operations, minimizing packing errors, and optimizing inventory accuracy in our e-commerce operations.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Processing: Manage the end-to-end order processing cycle, including order receiving, entry, verification, and fulfillment. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Resolve order-related issues, address customer inquiries, and provide timely updates on order status.


2. Packing Operations: Oversee the packing process to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Develop packing guidelines and standards to maintain consistency and quality. Optimize packing procedures to maximize efficiency, minimize errors, and reduce shipping costs. Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure the availability of necessary packaging materials and equipment.


3. Inventory Control: Implement effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs. Monitor inventory levels, replenishment needs, and stock rotation. Conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile any discrepancies, and ensure accurate inventory records. Collaborate with suppliers and warehouses to ensure seamless inventory management.


4. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of packed orders. Develop and enforce quality standards and inspection processes to minimize packing errors, missing items, and damaged products.


Qualifications:

- Proven experience in order management, packing operations, and inventory control within an e-commerce environment.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- High responsibility

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing e-commerce environment.

- Knowledge of packing techniques, shipping regulations, and fulfillment optimization is a plus.
