Job Scope:
- Perform diagnostic imaging services
- Ensure examination procedure and estimated duration is properly explained to the patient, observe radiation safety rules and exercise precautions to protect patients, staffs, and public from unnecessary exposure to ionizing radiation
- Ensure quality of film used, labelling, and examination code entered into system is correct
- Ensure that the patient’s safety, physical, and emotional well-being is taken care of during and after the examination
- Perform daily QA procedures to ensure equipment are in optimal performance
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Member of professional institutions
- Minimum Diploma in Radiography, or Bachelors in Applied Science (Radiography)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiographer
- Experienced in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Mammography will be advantageous
- Knowledge of PACS system
- Perform on-call and after hours duties, when necessary
