Responsibilities:
- Take charge of overall Production Planning, Coordination, Scheduling, and Dispatching for the manufacturing of Moulds, SFG, and FG.
- Analyze production specifications, plant capacity data, and perform calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and manpower requirements.
- Work closely with cross-departmental teams to enhance productivity and yield, involving in projects that span across departments.
- Gather and collate customer demand forecasts, challenging inputs when necessary and understanding market intelligence and drivers impacting forecast and demand.
- Lead monthly S&OP meetings with customers, providing updates on open orders and potential delays.
- Oversee SFG replenishment based on the reorder point policy for each product type, selecting the optimum lot size to minimize stock levels and reduce obsolescence.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of proven experience in production planning and scheduling, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in planning and Excel software tools.
- Proven ability to influence planning procedures and implement changes for process improvement.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and proactive approach to meeting deadlines and solving problems.
