- Collaborate with the Vessel Manager to procure spare parts and consumables for assigned ships.
- Coordinate the delivery of spares and stores to ships.
- Review all invoices from suppliers and maintain accurate computer records.
- Manage files for all spare parts inventories received from ships.
- Maintain document control, including keeping a checklist of periodic reporting due from vessels.
- Organize annual surveys and services for assigned vessels.
- Ensure ship certificates are up-to-date in the database (JIBE).
- Report to the Vessel Manager.
Requirements:
- Hold a diploma or degree in a related field, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Possess strong written and verbal skills.
- Have proficiency in PC knowledge, and experience with purchasing or related software is preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and Sharepoint.
