- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Masters preferred) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Science, or equivalent experience
- Experience: Minimum 8years experiences in communications expertise and solid industry and functional experience of in insert experience is required
- Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferred
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a complex matrix environment.
- Sense of urgency, however calm under pressure, resilient and flexible
- Project management skills, focused on delivery to deadlines - results driven and solutions-oriented
- Must be capable of working autonomously but engaging others as needed
- Self-motivated yet natural team player. Flexible and able to remain focused in a matrix organization.
- Excellent fluent written and spoken English skills with written and spoken Chinese capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage vendors, agencies; ideally with some agency experience
- Social media savvy with hands on experience in managing and developing an effective social media strategy and plan for a global organization.
How you will thrive and create an impact:
As a Regional Marketing and Communication Manager, you will act as a business partner to LSS BU leaders in the region to implement marketing communication strategies to support Avantor's LSS business segment and proprietary brands within the AMEA region.
- Coordinate and align with global communication and local commercial teams to execute marketing programs effectively across the AMEA region.
- Plan, drive and implement regional external events to support BU and regional strategy and priorities, including content & messaging for regional partner events including creating promotional materials, newsletters, brochures, and other collaterals in alignment with regional BU Commercial teams.
- Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams for event planning and execution to drive customer engagement and support sales pipelines.
- Set and track campaign performance goals, including e-newsletters, website content, PR share of voice, and related metrics.
- Manage LSS AMEA BU marketing budgets with cost savings, across the AMEA region and monitor campaign results, providing regular reports to the Commercial and Regional Communications lead.
- Measure, analyze, and continuously improve program effectiveness, focusing on ROI and KPIs/metrics.
Execution of Integrated Go-o-Market Plans
- Develop regional campaign templates, newsletters, ensuring that channels and messaging are globally aligned for local country adaption. Drive regional and country tracking and monitoring of campaign performance.
- Collaborate with the commercial excellence team to plan, develop, and execute AMEA-wide channel partner marketing programs, fostering strong relationships with partners to drive joint success and ensure alignment with Avantor’s strategic objectives.
- Interact with regional product management, sales management, and external organizations to plan, develop and implement communication plans on behalf of LSS AMEA.
- Drive marketing strategy and plans for LSS AMEA in consultation with Regional Comms lead amd Global LSS COE for NPIs in the region (incl. launch events or soft launch activities).
- Leverage Account-Based Marketing: Implement Account-Based Marketing approaches to maximize strategic partners’ marketing plans and drive targeted outcomes.
- Work closely with Regional Comms lead, AMEA Marketing Communications team and Global Communications Centres of Excellence to oversee regional program objectives, execution, and measurement.
- Report results on an ongoing basis and advocate for global processes and workflows, identifying new methods wherever applicable.
- Work closely with in-country sales leaders, portfolio specialists, the events and digital teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of communications and supporting tools.
Social and Digital Communications
- Working with regional Social Media Manager, plan and execute social media campaigns to support LSS AMEA, to increase high-quality followers and boost engagement across social platforms while driving brand awareness.
- Develop a comprehensive social media content plan and calendar for LSS AMEA to ensure messaging consistency in alignment with global calendar.
- Partner with Regional Digital Marketing Lead to implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, social media advertising, and content marketing, to drive traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
- Collaborate with global and regional communication colleagues in AMEA to create content that supports various business segments and promotes thought leadership.
- Oversee the development and distribution of newsletters, ensuring they are informative, engaging, and aligned with Avantor’s messaging and branding guidelines to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Incorporate best practices, both within and outside the industry, for campaigns and sustained programming to enhance positioning.
- Identify and track KPIs/metrics to measure program performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with corporate social team to ensure global alignment on messaging and positioning in social posts pertaining to LSS in AMEA.
