Responsibilities:
- Customises CMS database check sheets and allocation of check sheets based on latest engineering drawing revisions and punch list updates for telecom discipline
- Prepares boundary drawings as per subsystem listing
- Prepares procedures/ work method statements and risk assessment for telecom commissioning activities
- Attends Factory Acceptance Test at vendor’s premises, when required
- Leads a team of telecom engineers and technicians for preparation and site execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and function testing of telecom equipment and vendor packages on topsides
- Reviews system /sub-system completion status for taking over from Construction Teas as per commissioning schedule and priorities
- Liaises with various parties including vendor site representatives, where required, to ensure any issues affecting system completion are resolved promptly
- Participates in system/ sub-system joint inspections for taking over from Construction Team, punch listing activities, etc
- Prepares relevant documents required for safe energization of equipment such as Livening-Up Notice, CPTW, Isolation lists, etc
- Ensures that commissioning testing activities are conducted safely and comply with the site PTW and safety regulations and procedures.
- Reviews of completed commissioning documentation such as check sheets, text procedures, red line mark-up drawings, commissioning dossiers, etc
- Follows up with the relevant parties to ensure closure of outstanding issues arising from commissioning activities
Requirements:
- Familiar with various types of telecom equipment and systems
- Strong knowledge and experience in commissioning activities of oil and gas/ windfarm
- Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
