JOB PURPOSE

We are searching for a strategic partnerships key account assistant manager with strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial spirit to harvest growth from white spaces, while managing and developing strategic partnerships with key accounts. You will lead end-to-end the identification and capturing of growth from white spaces, including driving new business models, strategy, portfolio and partnerships. You will also manage key accounts, securing their partnerships towards win-win growth opportunities.

This is an exciting hybrid role of strategy, key account sales and business development that allows the individual to develop into holistic sales leadership. If you have strong business acumen, is results-driven, and want to co-create the future food scene with key leaders across the food industry, then this role is for you!


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define, Implement and manage new source of growth white space segments
  • Create business case to size opportunities, and make recommendations for investments using data; Drive data-driven analysis and decision-making
  • Drive relevant pilots necessary to testbed new models and ideas for current and future-fit growth
  • Innovate product solutions and value-added service propositions through industry partnerships and new business models
  • Deeply understand key strategic customers to develop and deliver joint business growth plans and pipeline opportunities
  • Identify and maximise key strategic customers’ product mix to deliver healthy and profitable growth
  • Negotiate effectively (e.g. value proposition, marketing support, product offers) to maximise ROI
  • Develop, deliver presentations, pitch decks for key customers interactions
  • Build strong and sustainable customer relationships
  • Conduct active engagement with relevant associations and new corporate relations, to land growth initiatives
  • Manage industry relations and grow UFS network and presence
  • Act as active ambassador of Unilever externally and internally

  • Proven track record in Business Development and/or Key Account Management
  • Strategic Thinker with on-ground implementation experience
  • Entrepreneurial and eager to develop new leads
  • Proven ability to pitch and negotiate
  • Strong communicator and people skills
  • Strong in business acumen, business case development and data analysis
  • Excited working in fast-paced, complex, multi-functional organization
  • Self-driven and agile to adapt
  • Knowledge of Singapore food service industry highly preferred
