Job descriptions:
- Perform CNC programming for precision parts as per drawing or technical specification.
- Perform CNC milling & lathe programming and setting of CNC machines.
- Check materials and tools required to perform programming.
- Set parameters (feed rate, speed, etc) according to materials and tools selection in order to achieve optimum speed.
- Perform progressive machining operations for precision parts.
- Troubleshooting.
- Perform details machining process plan and estimate cycle time.
- Technical support for daily manufacturing process including design jig & fixtures.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager
Requirements:
- Diploma qualification in Precision Machining or Mechanical engineering or Equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of CNC Machine working experience in precision engineering manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge on CNC milling programming and CNC turning programming.
- Under standard mechanical drawing, assembly and part level
- Familiar with CAM software like Mastercam & UG is an advantage
- Ability to muti-task
- Strong team player and able to work independently
