We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Corporate Wellness Coach to join our team.
The primary focus of this role is to develop and implement wellness programs tailored to the needs and support to employees on their journey towards improved health and well-being. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting wellness in the workplace and possess the skills and expertise necessary to drive positive behavior change.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and/or Sports Science, Nutrition or related field
- Proven experience developing and implementing wellness programs, including coaching and counseling on health-related topics
- Strong coaching and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire individuals to make positive behavior changes
- Knowledge of best practices in health promotion, behavior change theory, and adult learning principles
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Passion for promoting health and wellness in the workplace, with a commitment to making a positive impact on employee well-being
- Able to travel overseas or be stationed overseas for projects from time to time
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Collaborate with employees to assess their needs and develop customized wellness programs that align with their goals and objectives
- Coaching and Counseling: Provide individual and group coaching sessions to employees, offering guidance and support on a variety of wellness topics including nutrition, exercise, stress management, and work-life balance
- Educational Workshops: Plan and facilitate engaging workshops and trainings on wellness-related topics to increase awareness and knowledge among employees
- Goal Setting and Tracking: Work with employees to establish realistic wellness goals and develop action plans to achieve them. Monitor progress and provide ongoing feedback and encouragement
- Behavioral Change Strategies: Utilize evidence-based techniques and strategies to help employees adopt and maintain healthy lifestyle behaviors
- Resource Development: Create educational materials, resources, and tools to support wellness initiatives, such as tip sheets, newsletters, and online resources
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to program participation, employee satisfaction, and health outcomes. Prepare regular reports to track progress and measure the effectiveness of wellness programs
- Collaboration and Partnership: Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to promote wellness initiatives and leverage resources and expertise
