The IT Infrastructure Solution Designer's job is to create customized solutions to meet business needs by using the standard services provided by Technology partners. They specialize in specific technical areas like Data Centers (DC), Networks (NW), Software Development (SD), Workplace Platforms (WP), and SAP. The Solution Designer works with business partners to develop tailored solutions, coordinating the use of IT services. When there are unique service requests or projects, they collaborate with the Technology Domain and Innovation architects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design specific solutions for functional areas using standard services from our Technology Partner's platform and develop unique solutions as needed.
• Advise business customers and teams on technical inquiries regarding services within our Technology Partner's portfolio, with guidance from the CIO and Business Partner Manager.
• Manage relationships and account management activities with our Technology Partner and other third parties.
• Coordinate the use of standard services from our Technology Partner and other IT services, including handling administrative tasks like invoicing.
• Oversee the implementation process from a technical perspective, ensuring integrated solutions that meet specific business operational needs.
• Collaborate with Technology Domain and Innovation Architects and Portfolio Management to develop and maintain the service catalogue.
• Ensure compliance with regulations in the Singapore market.
• Resolve tickets, especially those related to user management and Service Desk/Onsite support.
• Provide transparency to upper management regarding technical activities and contribute insights to continuous service improvement plans.
• Facilitate the transition and migration from the Current Model of Operation to the Future Model of Operation, including technical review and validation of migration concepts.
• Participate in technical calls and workshops with our Technology Partner.
Key Deliverables:
• Provide technical solutions that meet business partner needs.
• Offer consultancy to business partners on services within and beyond the Partner portfolio.
• Supervise implementation processes from technical and administrative standpoints.
• Complete any other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualification & Specific Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years experience in IT Infrastructure and services.
• Proven track record in setting up IT infrastructure and applications.
• Demonstrated experience in liaising with Infrastructure vendors and services.
• Proficiency in networking and network architecture, encompassing end-client networking.
• Proficient in budget planning and organizational skills.
• Proficient in project management skills.
