About the Role
Purpose of the position
You will be accountable for refining the category Wearables visions for the APAC region, working closely with regional Go To Market category leads, market teams and Global stakeholders. You will sharpen category strategy, ensuring meticulous launch plans for NPD and category range while partnering daily with senior management on category priorities. You will ensure the strategies are supported by best in class, insights lead Creative briefs, driving efficiency in our regional process and effectiveness of our campaigns.

Ranging
- Support Marketing Directors to deliver the perfect Wearables range for APAC markets
- Use insights and deep understanding of Commercial strategy to partner with group and APAC Wearables Category leads in the planning, forecasting and alignment of the future category range
- Govern markets to find right balance between owner experience and too many skus NPD
NPD
- Partner with group to develop campaign kits and creative assets required for markets
- Sharpen APAC market “Go To Market” commercial and marketing plans; helping markets localise and launch brilliantly
- Build and maintain GTM launch trackers for all NPD
Campaigns
- Enabling with insights bringing together consumer, competitor landscapes together between functions to support Wearables marketing strategies, media plans to be insights driven.
- Building new high impact campaigns through close collaboration and partnership with the APAC Marketing and what trends can be capitalised on?
- Leverage existing campaign kits to solve local problems efficiently
- Represent APAC market needs into Group campaign kit planning to maximise the quality and impact
- Support campaign tracking for the key campaigns to maximise execution and commercial visibility of strategic projects
Commercial Excellence
- Ensure that all market strategic category initiatives are aligned to Global strategy, reviewing and challenging plans holistically with Dyson values and business goals in mind.
- Partner with the regional OE team to define the key category priorities, and ensure Owners are considered as a core audience in all relevant category plans and campaigns
- Support markets bringing commercial rigour and measurement to transformational commercial initiatives and campaigns
About You
Skills & Competencies
- Significant experience in commercial roles- Sales, Marketing experience, ideally in premium branded products
- Commercial mindset: have your fingertips on every part of the category and be a key driver of our commercial vision.
- Digital Native: The average person touches their smartphone 2.5k times every day and every wearables team member needs to be digitally astute.
- Owner first mind-set: You’ll understand and think always about what these plans and actions do for our owners.
- Strategic Thinker: proven ability to set and implement category and commercial strategy.
- Clear Communicator & stakeholder manager: Key to success in this role is to set the agenda, communicate brilliantly with your stakeholders and be unafraid to challenge professionally on our progress.
