Requirements:
· At least 5-8 years of experience in the Oil & Petrochemical industry, with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
· Certified in Project Management and Construction Safety for Project Managers.
· Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Process.
· Experience in Oil/Chemical Terminal environment with exposure to tank engineering, process design, and jetty operations.
· Proficient in piping and familiar with international standards.
Responsibilities:
Project Preparation, Evaluation, and Execution:
· Oversee the development of the master project schedule until the Final Investment Decision.
· Create comprehensive project descriptions, including layout and process drawings, adhering to company standards.
· Prepare specifications and cost estimates for proposed projects and lead the preparation of invitation to bid documents.
· Collaborate with other managers to develop bid packages and facilitate technical clarifications with tenderers.
· Provide technical evaluation inputs for tender proposal selection and review contractor documentation.
· Support the commissioning team and ensure compliance with project requirements during construction.
· Coordinate procurement activities and maintain project records, ensuring quality control and reporting on project status.
· Provide on-site technical support, oversee safety supervision, and coordinate inspections.
· Evaluate project and technical achievements, conduct project reviews, and participate in post-implementation reviews.
Project Governance & Compliance:
· Assist and deputize for the Project Manager, ensuring project success.
· Evaluate project risks, coordinate project work streams, and manage project stakeholders.
· Ensure adherence to project management requirements and conduct risk assessments for changes.
· Conduct peer/design reviews and stay updated on legislative and corporate standards.
