- Identify and secure suppliers for both direct and indirect materials/services to expand our supplier base and meet the demands of new projects and production requirements.
- Obtain quotes from newly identified suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and ongoing cost reductions.
- Lead periodic price negotiations with suppliers to maintain competitiveness in material/service costs.
- Collaborate in conducting supplier qualification audits and parts qualifications to ensure suppliers align with company requirements.
- Formulate purchasing strategies for various supply categories, aiming for on-time order fulfillment with minimal inventory for direct purchases.
- Address all indirect purchase needs based on user requirements to ensure comprehensive fulfillment.
- Periodically review the purchasing strategy with management, proposing changes as market trends evolve.
- Provide regular alerts and updates to both internal and external customers, ensuring prompt identification of any issues or delays and facilitating necessary actions.
- Collaborate with principals/suppliers to ensure timely deliveries that meet customer and company needs.
- Manage the warehouse team to ensure timely receipt and issuance of raw materials.
- Oversee the warehouse team to meet order fulfillment requirements for all customer shipments.
- Ensure the overall integrity of inventory for all goods in the warehouse.
