Business Intelligence & Investigations, Asia-Pacific (Associate)

Rsk Adv Grp Pte. Ltd.

About The Risk Advisory Group

Risk Advisory was founded with the goal of creating a truly professional risk management consultancy.

This goal is perpetual – we are completely committed to the highest ethical standards. That takes intelligence, expertise and determination – but it also takes energy and momentum – something we promise you if we work together.

We are proud of the business we have created and the long-lasting relationships we’ve built with our clients.

About the role

Risk Advisory’s Business Intelligence & Investigations Asia-Pacific team is looking to recruit Corporate Investigators in our Singapore office.

We are seeking to employ colleagues who are ready to work in an international, fast-paced and research-intensive environment with demanding, high-profile clients. This role is designed for ambitious candidates who have two years or more experience in the corporate investigations and due diligence sector, with a solid understanding of the common regulatory and reputational risks attached to prospective business partners across the Asia-Pacific region.

We are looking for candidates who are curious, inquisitive and tenacious in their research and innovative in their approach to using new research techniques and resources. An in-depth knowledge of regional politics and business is also essential for this position. The successful candidate will have spent considerable time living and working in one or more countries in the region.

Producing high-quality analysis is a core component of this position. As such candidates must possess outstanding research and writing skills, and will be tested on both during the application process. In addition to near native-level spoken and written English, we are looking for candidates who can offer fluency in one or more regional languages: Vietnamese, Thai, Korean, Japanese, Malay, or Indonesian are all of interest. The ability to manage multiple projects, often within tight deadlines, is a critical aspect of the work.

Strong interpersonal skills are also a requirement for this role. The successful candidate will form part of a dynamic and high-performing team and may, depending on experience, be expected to oversee the research of junior members of the team, in conjunction with the practice head. The successful candidate will also liaise directly with our clients on a regular basis, managing projects with them in their entirety.

We offer challenging and interesting work as part of an international team, with a competitive salary, generous vacation time, hybrid working – offering the opportunity for staff to blend home working and office working, as well as the possibility of working remotely for up to 30 working days in the year – and a package of other benefits.

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

We are committed to being a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organisation. We want to be the leader in our sector, and understand that a diverse team enables us to deliver the best services to our equally diverse client base. To achieve our business objectives, we are committed to hiring and developing individuals from all backgrounds.

Recognising and seeking to address the lack of diversity in our sector, we particularly welcome applications from individuals who may have experienced disadvantage on the basis of their age, sex, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic background, religion and/or belief.

If you are interested in becoming part of our team and if you are convinced that you meet our criteria, please submit your CV and covering letter by Tuesday 2nd April.

At this time we will prioritise applications from those with a pre-existing right to live and work in Singaporeplease confirm your immigration status in your application.

Initial shortlisting will start to take place during the application process when we may ask you to attend a video call with us for an introductory conversation. If you are selected to continue in the process, you will be invited to complete a written evaluation during mid April. Formal first and second interviews will take place shortly afterwards.
