Job Purpose
This position reports to the Operations Director (OD). Candidate must have the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. Primarily job responsibility is to ensure works are carried out safely in compliance to Workplace Safety and Health Act which includes providing training and conducting of needful inspection.
Key Responsibilities
Technical:
- Maintain safety & health in accordance with WSH Act and its legislative requirements.
- Responsible for implementation and administration of site Safety Management Plan, Hazard Identification, Control measures, includes conducting Safety inspection, committee meetings, safety update and reviewing of changes.
- Provide technical and professional safety assistance to the team.
- Identify, Conduct Safety training and implement safety programme.
- Conduct daily EHS toolbox meeting, prepare, and maintain records.
- Conduct inspections and provide continuous improvement plan to correct any unsafe condition or practice.
- To conduct accident / incident investigations and preparation of investigation reports, including the effective closures of all corrective / preventive actions
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Administration:
- Responsible for administration and maintaining all WSH and relevant safety & health records accordingly to the company’s need and requirements.
· Assists OD in providing admirative work relating to all safety matters including operations records etc.

Skill Requirements
· Level B - Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health, Risk Management and First Aid certified Diploma/NITEC with minimum 1 years of relevant working experience.
· Skills proficient in AutoCAD, and MSOffice
- Able to write and communicate effectively in speaking and written English.
