Job Responsibilities:
As a Systems Engineer with Active Directory experience, you will play a crucial role in our IT team.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining Active Directory infrastructures to ensure seamless user management, authentication, and authorization across the organization.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translating them into technical solutions within the Active Directory environment.
- Managing and troubleshooting user accounts, group policies, permissions, and security settings within Active Directory.
- Participating in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of server infrastructure, including Windows Servers, Exchange Servers, and other related technologies.
- Monitoring system performance, identifying potential issues, and implementing proactive measures to ensure system reliability and availability.
- Supporting disaster recovery and business continuity efforts by developing and testing backup and recovery strategies.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the organization's IT environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- At least 3 years of experience in administering and managing Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a strong focus on Active Directory design and administration.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, group policies, security protocols, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, are advantageous.
